Activist investor Carl Icahn has sold 2.9 million shares in Motorola Mobility for US$114 million, reports Reuters. The news follows last week’s approval of the proposed deal for Google to buy Motorola for US$12.5 billion. Icahn’s shares were sold for a slightly lower price than the premium Google has agreed to pay.
