Rick Costello

Rick has been working in technology publishing since 1989 where he started in B2B marketing after graduating from UCL with a degree in Electronic Engineering. Working for clients such as Nokia, Samsung, Xerox and C&W, Rick helped develop and deliver multi-channel campaigns across global markets in multiple languages. In the early 2000s, he joined one of the UK's leading web development agencies working on major digital projects for BT, Virgin Mobile, Vodafone and Microsoft. His tenure at the GSMA started in 2004 where he was initially involved in developing its market intelligence business before heading up the media division and the Mobile World Live channel.
