Microsoft expects the first batch of smartphones running on its new Mango Windows Phone OS to arrive in the fourth quarter, Steven Guggenheimer, corporate vice president of Microsoft’s OEM division said today, reports Dow Jones Newswires. Handset manufacturers that have committed to work with Microsoft on Mango include HTC, Acer, ZTE, Samsung, LG Electronics, Nokia and Fujitsu, Guggenheimer said on the sidelines of the Computex trade show.
