Sony Mobile announced its Xperia T3 smartphone, which it said is the “world’s slimmest 5.3-inch smartphone”.
The device has a stainless steel frame, which the vendor said “ensures its slim design feels sturdy and durable, while at the same time functioning as an antenna. The back cover has a matte finish, and it is available in three colours – white, black and purple.
But in terms of specifications, there is little to make it stand out. The 5.3-inch display has a 1280×720 resolution giving 277 pixels per inch, and it is powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm quadcore processor.
Xperia T3 has 8GB of onboard memory (around 5GB user accessible) with a microSD expansion slot, and runs Android 4.4. It also supports LTE connectivity and NFC.
It also features an 8 megapixel camera. Sony said it has “committed to continuously improve its selection of camera apps, with more apps constantly available to download and new ones continuously released”.
