Japan’s SoftBank is preparing to launch a TD-LTE network, according to Alcatel-Lucent’s Asia-Pacific president Rajeev Singh-Molares. In an interview with Dow Jones Newswires, Singh-Molares said that Japan or India is likely to be the first Asian country to commercially deploy TD-LTE technology, as China isn’t likely to start building networks this year.
