Canadian cable company Videotron is to launch its HSPA mobile network today, intending to compete with established rivals Bell Canada, Rogers Communications and Telus through the provision of bundled fixed and mobile packages. The company is focussing its efforts on Quebec, although IT World Canada previously reported that Videotron has built out a network in Ottawa; services elsewhere are provided via a roaming agreement with Rogers.
