Facebook announced a “major update” to its SDK for iOS, which it said makes it easier and faster to develop iOS apps integrated with the social networking service. It also introduced a new iOS Dev Center, which it said offers quick access to tools and resources to build social apps for iOS.

The company highlighted improvements including better user session management, ready-to-use Native UI views, modern Objective C language features support; and improved Facebook API support. Also on the list is iOS6 integration which will enable developers to use the native Facebook Login which is being integrated in the next version of the Apple platform.
