ABI Research said that connections for the “high growth media tablet segment” will drive enterprise mobile broadband growth, with a recent survey of US business customers showing that broadband “attach rates” for tablets are 33 percent higher than for netbooks and 50 percent higher than laptops. Dan Shey, ABI’s enterprise practice director, said: “”favourable pricing and plan options have made it easy for early adopters in the sales, management and professional services segment to add cellular plans.”
