Four organisations will bid for unused 900MHz spectrum in Hungary, reports Dow Jones Newswires. According to the country’s media authority, Deutsche Telekom-owned Magyar Telekom, Telenor, Vodafone, and a consortium of state-owned companies – including the Hungarian development bank and postal service – will bid in the auction to be completed this month. Magyar Telekom became the first operator to launch commercial LTE services in Hungary when it launched its network in Budapest on 1 January.
