Ukraine’s competition watchdog said it needs at least a month to reach a new verdict regarding the merger of the country’s largest mobile operator Kyivstar with Russia’s second-largest, VimpelCom. “The decision should be made no earlier than the end of June or even later,” a spokesman for Ukraine’s Anti-monopoly Committee told Dow Jones Newswires.
