New French mobile operator Free has set a target of a 15 to 25 percent market share, Thomas Reynaud – CFO of parent firm Iliad – told a conference this week, reports Telecompaper. He did not say when this would be achieved or when Free Mobile is expected to start turning a profit, but predicted that it would do better than similar new entrants such as TeliaSonera's Spanish unit Yoigo, which took five years to breakeven.
