US operator Sprint today unveiled its first netbook, the Inspiron Mini 10 from Dell. Rivals AT&T and Verizon have already launched netbooks. In a statement, Sprint said it is now available “at select Sprint Stores in the metropolitan Baltimore area for just US$199.99 with activation on a Sprint Mobile Broadband [EV-DO] plan and a two-year service agreement, after a US$100 mail-in rebate.” Meanwhile, the operator also today announced extension of its mobile WiMAX service into a number of new US markets.
