Nokia will continue to offer updates to its outgoing Symbian OS platform until 2016, according to Stephen Elop, the Finnish company’s CEO. According to CNET News, the investment in Symbian will “absolutely continue” as it transitions to Windows Phone as its primary smartphone platform.
