Social travel app Jetpac received US$2.4 million in Series A funding from investors including Yahoo co-founder Jerry Yang, an unnamed Facebook executive, Khosla Ventures and Morado Venture Partners, reports TechCrunch. The company is planning to use the funding to hire new developers and designers, and to introduce new features to allow users to communicate with friends. Jetpac has also released a new version of the app, adding an improved photo navigation tool called Atlas.
