Mobile social games platform company PapayaMobile has launched a cross-promotion network exclusively for Android developers.

Developers will be able to use AppFlood to cross-promote their apps with those from other publishers, meaning they can acquire users cost-free. AppFlood also allows developers to accumulate and transfer users into any of their apps connected to the network.

As well as exchanging users, AppFlood allows developers to buy and sell installs in a commission-free market. Other mobile app ad networks charge advertisers and developers as much as 30 percent commission.

The network offers a range of flexible ad units designed to integrate into apps, including banner, interstitial and panels showing selections games.

“Developers share with us their anxiety over the ever-increasing cost of user acquisition, so we decided to create a solution that compliments any mobile strategy,” said PapayaMobile CEO Si Shen. The company said the private beta of AppFlood saw positive results for developers, including Frenzoo, Bulkypix and Infolife.

Developers wanting to use Papaya’s social network technology to use AppFlood and for a limited time will receive 1,000 installs for each app they connect to the service.
