Amazon’s Kindle Fire tablet will have access to a catalogue of thousands of Android apps and games at its 15 November US launch. The company has announced it has secured apps from Netflix, Rhapsody, Pandora, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Bloomberg as well as games from EA, Gameloft, PopCap, Rovio and Zynga. The apps will be available through Amazon’s on-device store as well as its Android Appstore. "We started talking to app developers everywhere the day we introduced Kindle Fire, and the response has been overwhelming," Amazon Kindle VP Dave Limp said.
