South Africa-based operator group MTN said it had resolved a dispute with the government of Guinea that had seen its assets in the West African country seized, with the threat that its licence would also be suspended. The dispute revolves around MTN’s 2007 acquisition of an operator in the country, and terms of the settlement were not disclosed.
