The Tunisian government has created a national holding company to manage its stakes in the country's two mobile networks, Tunisiana and Orange, reports Cellular News. The Caisse des Dépôts et Consignation (CDC) is to be headed up by Minister of Finance Jalloul Ayed while an independent subcommittee will monitor corruption and evaluate investments of the CDC. The Tunisian government has a 25 percent stake in Tunisiana and a 51 percent stake in Orange.
