Huawei has overtaken Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) in the microwave equipment market, taking the third-place spot for the first time, reports Cellular News. According to Infonetics Research, Ericsson and NEC continued their battle over the top spot, with Ericsson eking ahead in 2009 by a fraction of a share point. The worldwide microwave equipment market grew from US$4.94 billion to US$5.85 billion between 2008 and 2009, the firm said, a rise of 18 percent.
