T-Mobile USA has drafted in financial consultancy TAP Advisor to help with the possible sale of its wireless towers, according to Bloomberg sources. The towers are being sold to raise money – potentially as much as US$3 billion – to fund the operator's network expansion plans. T-Mobile’s parent company Deutsche Telekom needs to raise money after its efforts to sell its US division to AT&T failed late last year.
