A Financial Times Deutschland report states that T-Mobile Germany is selling fewer than 700 iPhones a day, compared to other mobile devices that can sell in their thousands daily during the Christmas period. The operator declined to comment on the proposed figures, the report added. T-Mobile is the exclusive distributor and operator of Apple’s iPhone device in Germany. Last week the operator won its battle with rival Vodafone over whether it can sell a ‘locked’ iPhone in Germany.

Earlier this month O2 said sales of the iPhone in the U.K. were in line with expectations and Orange France confirmed it sold 30,000 iPhones in the first five days of its launch. Last month AT&T reported activating 1.1 million iPhones since its launch of the device in the U.S. in late June.
