Cellular News reports that Canada’s Rogers Communications posted a jump in first-quarter adjusted operating profit of 16 percent as revenues rose by 5 percent to CAD2.9 billion. Net profit was up by 23 percent to CAD380 million, from CAD309 million a year ago. Mobile revenue growth was fuelled by data revenue growth of 40 percent and postpaid net subscriber additions of 47,000.
