Associated Press reported that NXP Semiconductor is set for an Initial Public Offering (IPO) this week, which is expected to raise up to US$714 million. The company’s products are used for a range of applications, including wireless infrastructure products. Reuters previously reported analyst concern that NXP’s valuation may be “too rich”, due to its high debt level compared to competitors and the cyclical nature of its industry sector.
