Saudi Telecom Company (STC) has taken full control of Indonesia’s PT Natrindo Telepon Seluler (NTS) following an increase in its stake in the company from 51 percent to 80.1 percent, reports Telecompaper. STC said it has entered into a definitive agreement with Maxis Communications to restructure the terms of their joint investment in NTS, which operates under the Axis brand name. As a result, Maxis’s equity ownership will decrease from 44 percent to 14.9 percent.
