Reuters reports that the Korea Communications Commission has received applications from the country’s three operators for a planned issue of 800MHz, 1800MHz and 2100MHz spectrum, which is due to take place next month. According to the report, KT and SK Telecom have placed bids for 800MHz and 1800MHz allocations, while LG U+ has only applied for a 2100MHz allocation – a band its larger rivals are barred from applying for.
