Alcatel-Lucent CEO Ben Verwaayen said the infrastructure provider is no longer on a financial “cliff” and is focusing on innovation, reports Bloomberg. The company has previously suffered from investment cuts by telecoms companies and increased competition from the likes of China’s Huawei and ZTE, but last year posted its first profit since its formation in 2006.
