Malaysian integrated operator Maxis announced “stellar” fourth quarter results, with a net profit of MYR610 million (US$200.1 million), up 1.5 percent sequentially, on revenue of MYR2.3 billion, up 4.2 percent. The company did not provide year-on-year results for comparison. The company now has 13.95 million mobile subscribers, up from 9.32 million at the end of 2009, and non-voice services now accounts for 41.5 percent of mobile revenue.
