The Wall Street Journal reports that the Indian government expects revenue from the auction of bandwidth for third-generation mobile services and wireless broadband services to cross 500 billion rupees (US$11.2 billion). The government, in its federal budget in February, had said it expects revenue of 250 billion rupees from the auctions.
