Dow Jones Newswires reports that the bidding for bandwidth for 3G mobile services covering the whole of India stands at 57.10 billion rupees (US$1.30 billion) after a total of 40 rounds at the end of the seventh day of auctions, the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) said on its website Saturday. The starting price was INR35.00 billion. The bidding for the one available pan-India slot will start at INR58.68 billion when the auction resumes Monday, the DoT said.
