Apple has shown off a new nano-SIM design that addresses concerns held by other handset makers, reports The Verge. The new design – displayed by SIM card maker Giesecke & Devrient at this week’s CTIA trade show in New Orleans – has altered dimensions compared to the previous version, which appears to address Nokia’s concerns about cards jamming in devices. An ETSI vote on which nano-SIM design will be adopted as the industry standard is pending after it was delayed due to disagreements amongst device makers.
