Turkish mobile market leader Turkcell has reported a 5.8 percent drop in first-quarter revenue to TRY2.12 billion (US$1.4 billion), reports Cellular News, largely due to regulatory and competitive pressures in its home market. Group net income decreased by 21 percent to TRY330.1 million (US$217 million), mainly due to lower EBITDA.
