Telekom Austria has reported net profits of EUR69 million for the first nine months of 2011, despite EUR224.8 million of restructuring costs. The Austrian number one operator reported a 4.1 percent reduction in revenues to EUR3.34 billion, which it attributes to “foreign currency translation effects”. The operator group increased mobile subscribers by 2.7 percent to 19.9 million, with strong growth in Serbia, Macedonia and Slovenia.
