Messaging technology company Synchronica is to acquire the instant messaging business of Neustar in a US$251,000 transaction, which includes 11 contracts with operators including Vodafone and Optimus in Portugal, SFR in France, TIM in Italy and Vimpelcom and MegaFon in Russia. The deal also includes two contracts with “tier one” device manufacturers.
