Canadian mobile operator Rogers Wireless plans to roll out a HSPA+ network offering theoretical peak download speeds of 21Mb/s. The company currently offers HSDPA at up to 7.2Mb/s. The rollout of the higher speed technology will start in August in the Toronto area and spread to other cities across the country later this year. Rogers also announced that it has agreed to share HSPA network infrastructure with regional operator MTS Allstream in Manitoba.
