Dow Jones Newswires reports that South Korea’s largest telecoms operator, KT Corp., expects revenue and capital spending to increase this year. In a statement, the company said it expects revenue to increase 2.8 percent to KRW19.5 trillion (US$17.3 billion) this year from an estimated KRW18.96 trillion in 2009. It plans to boost capital spending by 8 percent to KRW3.2 trillion from KRW2.96 trillion.
