Leading Canadian mobile operator Rogers has announced an agreement with Exmovere Holdings whereby it will provide cellular connectivity to the supplier’s patented biosensor infant pyjamas. The new wireless-enabled product is called Exmobaby and monitors a newborn’s ECG, skin temperature and movement. It can transmit alerts to a PC, tablet or mobile device. Exmobaby is expected to be available in Canadian retail outlet later this year.

Rogers' deal follows an announcement in December last year between AT&T and Exmovere covering the launch of the same product in the US market. AT&T will provide the company's pyjamas with wireless connectivity.
