France-based publisher Gameloft and distributor CocoaChina/Chukong announced a continuation of their partnership, which sees Gameloft titles made available in what they describe as the “booming Chinese mobile market”.

Under the terms of the agreement, Gameloft will use its local partner’s skills in “game design, monetisation, distribution and piracy prevention” to launch Asphalt 8: Airborne and Dungeon Hunter 4 in the country.

CocoaChina claims to be the “premier localisation partner for the Chinese market”, handling tasks such as app store placement (notably fragmented in China), game design updates, and operator billing relationships.

It first partnered with Gameloft in early 2013 for the launch of Zombiewood for Chinese Android users.
