US firm Immersion has released Motiv SDK 1.0, a toolkit that enables Android developers to integrate “tactile feedback”, also known as haptics, into their applications. Developers can use the toolkit to gain access to a range of haptic effects including strumming a guitar or the kickback of a weapon during a first-person shooter game.
