M-payment company Boku announced the production release of 1-Tap Mobile Billing for Android, which is live in 56 countries. The developer SDK is said to open up “significantly expanded revenue opportunities to Android developers via direct carrier billing for in-app purchases, along with a consumer reach that spans the globe.” It also provides users with a purchase process that does not require the collection of credit cards, financial information, user log-in, or registration through a third-party website. Features available to developers include easy integration of the Boku SDK into any new or existing app; support for Android platforms from Android 1.5 onwards; and localisation support for 32 languages.
