Appland said its eponymous app store is available for licensing, describing it as “the world’s first software-as-a-service Android app store that solely uses operator billing.” It has been live in Sweden via all operators for six months, and is now being offered to other partners in Europe. Appland said that the store “gives partners a strategic position in their users’ smartphones and enables values like in-store campaigns, partner presence, business intelligence and revenue.”
