Ericsson to go without chief brand officer

Infrastructure provider Ericsson will end its chief brand officer role after the current holder of the position, Cesare Avenia, steps down on 21 December. Avenia was appointed chief brand officer just over two years ago to lead the implementation of Ericsson's new brand strategy, the initial phase of which is now over. Avenia will leave Ericsson’s executive leadership team but continue to support the Ericsson brand as a senior adviser to the Group Functions Communications and Sales and Marketing divisions.
