Reuters notes that Comviva, a company majority-owned by the parent of Bharti Airtel, will manage value-added services for the leading Indian mobile operator for three years. Comviva, formerly Bharti Telesoft, last year signed a deal with South Africa’s MTN to provide mobile value-added services to MTN customers in 21 markets. Bharti and MTN are in exclusive merger talks.
