Tele2 reported third-quarter revenues of SEK9.763 billion (US$1.4 billion), up 3 percent from a year earlier thanks to growth in its mobile base and in Russia, reports Telecompaper. The operator added a net 1.088 million new customers in the quarter, as over 1 million new customers in Russia and growth in Sweden offset the continued loss of fixed telephony users. EBITDA improved 6 percent to SEK2.375 billion on improvements at its broadband activities and in the Netherlands and Austria.
