PapayaMobile’s app user acquisition service AppFlood now supports iOS, one year after launching for Android.

The commission-free cross-promotion platform allows app publishers to buy, sell and exchange mobile app traffic.

“Since many of our developers create apps across both Android and iOS, AppFlood’s support of both platforms means far greater reach, far better monetisation and more efficient user acquisition,” said Si Shen, PapayaMobile CEO.

The number of monthly active users on AppFlood doubled between April and June, to reach 46 million, creating 1.3 billion impressions. More than 4,500 developers are now on board.

Shen attributes the success of AppFlood to a good understanding of developers’ needs: “We get that developers want more transparency and control over their app marketing efforts; they don’t want yet more middlemen getting in the way and taking all the profits.”

AppFlood was recently revamped to include new features that increase control and transparency for developers.
