Intel will continue to pursue opportunities to diversify from its primary business of providing microprocessing chips for personal computers and servers, chief executive Paul Otellini said yesterday, according to Dow Jones Newswires. The news agency noted that Otellini said he’s interested in adding to the company’s US$884 million purchase last year of Wind River Systems, which provides embedded software for automated teller machines, mobile devices, television set-top boxes, and other products.
