Reuters reports that the number of apps available for Microsoft’s fledgling Windows Phone 7 platform has now passed 6,500, citing an IDC analyst who says there is “pretty good momentum” for the platform. It was also said that two million WP7 devices have been sold, although it still lags Symbian OS, iPhone and Android.
