Wataniya Mobile, the second licensed mobile operator in Palestine, is to undertake an initial public offering of 15 percent of its stock, which could be worth around $50 million. The proceeds will be used for “general business and operational purposes,” and to assist with payments for Wataniya’s operating licence. The company is 52.5 percent owned by Qtel, and is also part-owned by the Palestine Investment Fund.
