Turkcell announced a net income of TRY1.76 billion (US$1.1 billion) for 2010, up 3.7 percent year-on-year, on revenue of TRY9 billion, up 0.8 percent year-on-year. The company said that the sales increase was “mainly due to increasing mobile internet revenues” and a higher contribution of Group companies, despite the negative impact of regulators decisions in Turkey.
