Cellular News notes that Indonesia’s state-owned Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Telkom) is reported to be in talks with rival Bakrie Telecom concerning a merger of their CDMA networks. Telkom’s Rinaldi Firmansyah confirmed late last week that the two companies were in talks about Telkom’s Telkom Flexi and Bakrie Telecom’s Esia brands, both of which are CDMA providers.
