Danish operator TDC says that its first quarter revenues rose by 1.8 percent to DKK9.1 billion (US$1.56 billion), while EBITDA rose to DKK3.3 billion (US$565 million), up by 8.1 percent compared with 1Q 2009. Net income dropped from DKK449 million to DKK264 million (US$45 million). “Our first quarter performance is satisfactory. We continued to increase our earnings, and maintain our positive revenue trend line despite challenging market conditions, intense price competition and the impact of regulation,” says Henrik Poulsen, CEO and president.
